When the pressure exceeds the standard level, the scores open to release gas, causing the dome to rupture and lowering the inner pressure to prevent an explosion. RVR serves as a back-up safety technology to protect an unused can from over-pressuring. It is UL Listed (UL Recognized Safety Container for butane fuel).

Furthermore, RVR automatically reseals when removed from the stove and features a notched collar that provides easier alignment in portable gas burners. It is compatible with a diverse variety of camp stoves and each can lasts approximately 2 to 8 hours of burn time.
